Can we save 2008?
by Luke on Jan.06, 2008, under Artistry Revealed

In a world of turmoil, in a world of wonder, there is but hope that remains. 2008 holds the keys to the next decade. I see the start of the year as a blue scape depicting reverence and verve. Let us work together to make this the best year ever.

Today the weather is wet and damp, the world is experiencing weather and attitudes that may not be positive for many but the subtle nature of this offering above from my mind will bring focus to your calm. The mixture of earth tones and curves with a reverence of movement will offer a peaceful moment to your day. DELICATE STRUCTURES might just bring a moment of contemplation to you.

Today

I read a thought today and thought I would share my consideration of that reflection with you. The thought was about living in the moment. Although there is agreement that living in the moment is great, it tends to be surrounded by history and tomorrow. Fortunately for us Yesterday is Gone (Chad & Jeremy) so we don’t have to worry about what was but tomorrow is yet to come. It is interesting how many people I know don’t think about the ramifications of their living in the moment and how it will effectively affect them tomorrow. My thought is that living in the moment is great if and only if it brings a better tomorrow.
Lititz in Lancaster County Pennsylvania
by Luke on Aug.05, 2007, under Artistry Revealed, You should Go!
Shopping in Lititz Pa was a real treat. The shops are plentiful from Lancaster to Lititz to Brickerville and all points in between. This particular Saturday my friends and I visited Shops in downtown Lititz. We are known for having lots of fun when we explore. Laughter is abundant and what we find we like to share.
There was this little glass shop on Sturgis Lane called The North Star of Lititz, one of many shops and certainly not the only glass shop but the shop keeper was a real sport, offering insights into the different glass objects and interesting trivia. We even signed their “we were here” book for posterity.
 Â
Although there were many objects that tickled our interest, the display of pigs flying was the most amusing. Blown in real glass these piggy’s seemed to be flying through the air. They come in a variety of colors and they are so cute. As I remember, they were very reasonable in price and would make the neatest conversation piece in any home or gift for a special friend.
If you love gift shops and arts and crafts with an unusual variety of offerings this town is worth the trip..
Also among the hundreds of items were glass seashells, all different in shape and colors displayed in sand as if to be a treasure found on a nearby beach. Pick them up and they sparkle. Glass balls of all kinds, glass figures and things that shine and glisten were displayed for all to see. Mobiles of some very unique and unusual themes caught our eyes; one in particular featured a series of martini glasses.
If you are ever in Lititz, look these wonderful shop keepers up. They, as everyone in town were very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your day more pleasant. . They are located at 6 North Stergis Lane, Lititz Pa 17543 and you can phone them at 717-625-1945. There website is http://thenorthstaroflititz.com .
When we left, we went over to the Sutter Place on the square for lunch. If you are a guy, you gotta check out the lady in the bathtub in the Mens room. Her name is Pearl and she will give you a start and a smile as you enter. Don’t worry, she won’t solicite you, just a manequin but very unusual.Â
We had fun, you will too.
Pictures of nature unveiled
by Luke on Aug.02, 2007, under Artistry Revealed

Here you will find new pictures of things we find on earth that as of now Man didn’t make. It is amazing what you can find when you look real close. Beauty abounds everywhere. I found this flower in Wildwood park in Harrisburg Pennsylvania. It is the same place I found the bog picture and the egrets picture featured in the rotation of pictures at the top of this blog. Nature is full of such beauty; you just have to look around.
Hello world!
by Luke on Jul.31, 2007, under Artistry Revealed
Hi there! Nice to see you; hope you can stick around: Luke here! Well, that is my middle name but if you know me you already know my first name so I thought I would share something you may not know.
This section of my website is here for the fun of it, nothing serious, just a place to share thoughts now and again. In a world with so much diversity I will offer my two cents worth here. The website is nothing more than a place to share expression. Sometimes I will be silly occasionally profound, and sometimes just nonsensical.
Overall, I hope to be interesting. I doubt I will ever be boring because if I was, I would go to sleep writing this mess. So enjoy!Â
