Today

I read a thought today and thought I would share my consideration of that reflection with you. The thought was about living in the moment. Although there is agreement that living in the moment is great, it tends to be surrounded by history and tomorrow. Fortunately for us Yesterday is Gone (Chad & Jeremy) so we don’t have to worry about what was but tomorrow is yet to come. It is interesting how many people I know don’t think about the ramifications of their living in the moment and how it will effectively affect them tomorrow. My thought is that living in the moment is great if and only if it brings a better tomorrow.

Today is a subtle day with earth tones and rustics curves. The ebbs and flows of life abound and the rain falls endlessly to renew the soil. Everything seems damp until the rain passes and then the renewal is apparent. The shine on the world is always bathed and cleaned by the passing shower. The day has succeeded in adding beauty to the world.
