RANDOM THOUGHTS - Here lie words; words in an order that may just be profound; or, they may just be mumbling's of disgruntlement.
Then again, they are ramblings of myself or others I confidently found fit to include. We all believe in things and complain about others. We are sometimes satisfied and other times we can't stop communicating, whether others want us to or not.
I simply included this page of my own ramblings to give voice to statements and ideas. There is no statement made here that will change life, nor will you find deep meaning. If you find deep meaning, you will have gone far beyond my purpose of this page.
Simple language sometimes tells a better story than a volume or book. We all have different views and freedom allows us to have those views. I choose to write mine into a web page that people may or may not read. It matters not to me if you understand my words, nor whether you agree with them. My words will address human existence, assuming that all humans are of like manner and kind. NOTE: Hopefully there is no one from Jupiter or another galaxy here on earth. I will make fun of little green men from another world.
So on to the thoughts, some mine, some not. I find validity in all of them but in order to do the same you have to understand and agree to the premise. If you don't, then you won't get the ideas presented. EXAMPLE: If you don't see yourself as a bad driver then you won't get the analogy below.....So be it ....enjoy !!
- The world is a place with much beauty. I find it sometimes distressing that so many people never take the time to experience it.
- Wise words of Edmund Burke in his 1792 letter to Sir Hercules Langrishe: "No man will assert seriously, that when people are of a turbulent spirit, the best way to keep them in order is to furnish them with something substantial to complain of."
- My friend David once said, " Good drivers save bad drivers asses all the time" - Think about this one, because it really does have validity.
- Ron White of Blue Collar TV fame named his albuim, "You can't fix stupid" -- how profound is that?
- A statement is only an insult if someone can't stand hearing it.
- My Mom told me generations ago the following cliche. "Sticks and stones can break your bones but names can never hurt you." I always remembered that because it is so profound and true. It is beyond me that so many people get so upset over nothing but a few words. Words have never hurt me. By my feeling that way, I am already ahead of those who would limit speech.
- Stay closer to your enemies than you do to your friends.
many more to come, when I have time....
